〈病中偶憶寧越，次途中望莊陵感懷韻〉

 

清泠浦上雨紛紛，

開遍梨花不見君。

羽衛如今瞻嶺月，

謳歌從古咽江雲。

西方望美何嗟及，

北渚愁予未敢云。

蜀魄人間傳舊曲，

傷心人間不堪聞。

청령포에

      비가 주룩주룩 내리고

여기저기 배꽃이 피었는데

      임금님은 보이지 않았습니다

 

지금은 호위대가

      고개 위에 걸린 달을 바라보고;

예로부터 찬미의 노래는

      강 위에 뜬 구름에 목이 메었지요

 

서편으로 아름다운 사람을 바라보지만

      어찌 탄식이 다다를 수 있었겠나요;

북쪽 모래 섬이 나를 시름하게 해도

      감히 입 밖으로 내지 못했습니다

 

촉나라 혼백 소쩍새가 사람 사이로

      옛날 그 곡조를 전해

아픈 마음으로 가는 길에

      차마 들을 수 없었지요

A flurry of rain pattered down

        In the Chōng-nyōng Shore,

And pear flowers were in bloom everywhere,

        But His Majesty was not there to see.

 

The Royal Guard was now

        Looking up at the moon over the mountain range;

The hymn of praise from long ago

        Were choked up by the clouds on the river.

 

Looking afar to the west at the beautiful,

        But how could the lamentations reach there?

The islet in the north saddened me,

        But I dared not to speak.

 

Cuckoos, the soul of Shu, relayed

        Old tunes to people,

But trudging along with the pained heart,

        I could not bear to listen to that.
