〈清泠浦〉

 

清泠浦在府西十里地，江水廽抱，中有小嶼，方正可居。端廟自京移蹕寧越也，初駐于此。嘗手植二檜于所御庭前。其一今尚在，幢幢如翠盖焉。

 

何年帝子下中洲，

目斷西天渺渺愁。

隔水送瓢知有意，

臨流捐珮竟誰留。

山哀浦思情何極，

日落雲停恨未休。

老樹猶如瞻翠盖，

風霜耐閱幾春秋。

"청령포"

 

청령포는 영월부의 서쪽 십 리 거리에 있습니다. 강물이 구비구비 흐르며 감싸 안은 가운데 조그만 섬이 있어 사람이 살 수 있습니다. 단종이 한양에서 옮겨와 영월에 행차하셨을 때 처음에 이곳에 머무르셨습니다. 거처의 앞에 손수 전나무 두 그루를 심으셨는데 그 중 한 그루는 아직 남아서 하늘하늘 흔들리는 푸른 덮개 같습니다.

 

하늘 임금의 아드님은 언제

      이 신선의 섬으로 내려오셨는지

서쪽 하늘이 눈길에서 끊어져

      수심 속에 아련했겠지요

 

물 건너에서 보내온 표주박에

      무슨 뜻이 있었는지 알았습니다

흐르는 물에 버린 옥장식은

      도대체 누가 간직했습니까

 

산의 슬픔과 강어귀의 걱정

      그 느낌이 어찌 이렇게 간절한가요

해도 지고 구름도 멎었지만

      회한은 남아 멈추지 않습니다

 

늙은 나무는 마치

      푸른 덮개를 보는 듯한데

바람과 서리를 보며 견딘 것이

      몇 번의 봄, 몇 번의 가을이었을까요

"The Ch'ōng-nyōng Shore"

 

The Ch'ōng-nyōng Shore is located ten li west of Yōng-wōl Prefecture. A small islet was made livable hugged by a meandering river.  This is the place where King Dan-jong first stayed when he moved here from the capital.  He planted by himself two fir trees, one of which still stands, waving like a green sun shade.

 

Which year was it that the son of the Lord

        Came down to this fairy island?

The west heaven was far away in sorrow,

        Being cut off from sight.

 

It was understood why

        The ladle was sent from across the river.

Who in the end was to keep

        The jade pendants discarded in the flowing water?

 

Sorrows of the mountain and worries of the river shore—

        How is it that the feelings are so ardent?

The sun has set and the clouds ceased to move,

        But bitter regrets would never subside.

 

The old tree looks as if

        It were a green sun shade.

How many springs and autumns

        Has it endured to see the wind and the frost?
