Thanksgiving 2014

올해 추수감사절에는 20 파운드짜리 칠면조와 10 파운드짜리 햄을 포함해 음식을 준비하고 가족과 친구, 학생들을 초대했습니다. 

 

 

 

 

저녁식사에 앞서 다음과 같은 감사기도를 했습니다.

 

In this season of Thanksgiving, a Chinese phrase comes to mind: "For every bowl of rice and porridge, we must keep in mind that they do not come easy; for every thread and twine of cloth, we shall remember the endeavor that creates the power of things. 壹粥壹飯,當思來處不易;半絲半縷,念物力維艱。"  Our thoughts should reach even to those whom we do not know in person.   We should express our gratitude, and people in various corners of this planet speak these words for that:
