〈次子規樓韻〉

 

萬事人間歲月悠，

喬陵松柏自春秋。

天心政是歸當璧，

國勢無因救綴旒。

昔日鵑聲生此地，

何年龍馭駐斯樓。

玉簫已斷梧雲遠，

草遍空山暮雨啾。

"'소쩍새 누각 子規樓'시의 운을 따라 또 짓습니다"

 

온갖 일이 사람들 사이에서 벌어지며

      세월은 흐르고

임금님의 높은 무덤가 소나무와 잣나무

      스스로 봄과 가을을 지냅니다

 

하늘의 마음은 옳은 것을 세우니

      임금의 징조를 보인 사람에게 돌아가고

나라의 힘은 장대 끝 나부끼는 깃발을

      구할 이유가 업습니다

 

지난 날엔 소쩍새 소리가

      이 땅에서 피어났는데

어느 해에나 임금님의 수레가

      이 누각에 머물까요

 

옥 피리 소리는 이미 끊어졌고

      구름 속 오동나무도 먼데

풀만 펼쳐진 빈 산에

      저녁 비 울어옙니다

Myriad affairs go on amidst people

        And time continues to flow by.

The pine and cypress trees by the lofty mausoleum

        Pass springs and autumns by themselves.

 

Heaven's heart affirming the right

        Returns to the ones showing the sign of sovereignty.

The power of the kingdom has no reason

        To save the pennant fluttering on a pole.

 

In old days, the cries of cuckoo

        Arose in this place.

Which year, would the Royal Carriage

        Stay at this pavilion?

 

The sound of the jade flutes has ceased,

        And the phoenix tree in the cloud is far away.

In the empty mountain where only grass is widely spread,

        Only evening rain sobs in sorrow.
