初月

 

落日嶺西盡，雲端初掛彎。

雙眉分一半，團扇摺中間。

暗暈藏金鏡，流輝破玉環。

懸知三五夜，皎皎滿人寰。

"초승달"

 

지는 해 고갯마루 서쪽으로 사라지면

구름 끝으로 나와 구부정하게 걸립니다

 

한 쌍의 눈썹이 반으로 나뉘더니;

둥근 부채가 가운데에서 접힙니다

 

어둑한 후광이 금 거울을 품고;

흐르는 빛은 옥가락지를 깨뜨립니다

 

보름날 밤이 오면 밝고 깨끗하게

이 넓은 사람의 세상에 가득하겠지요

"A Crescent Moon"

 

The setting sun fades away over the west ridges,

And an arc hangs on the edge of the clouds.

 

A paired eyebrows are divided in the middle;

And a round-shaped fan is folded at the center.

 

A dim halo harbors a golden mirror;

And a streaming luster shatters a jade hoop.

 

When the fifteenth night comes,

The glistening white will fill the wide world of humans.
