早春書懷

 

陣陣輕寒乍透欞，低垂簾箔點茶經。

雪因山氣殘猶白，草得春心凍更青。

詩境現前通夜月，酒名從古列天星。

浮生若此能消受，只恨流光不暫停。

"이른 봄 마음을 풀어 씁니다"

 

쌀쌀한 기운이 휘익 휘익

   격자창문으로 스며들어

주렴을 낮게 내리고

   《다경》을 꼼꼼히 읽습니다

 

산의 기운을 받았는지

   눈이 희게 남았고;

봄의 마음을 얻어

   풀은 얼수록 푸릅니다

 

시에 담을 뜻이 앞에 나타나

   달 밝은 밤 내내 이어지고;

술로 얻는 이름은 예로부터

   하늘의 별처럼 늘어섰지요

 

이렇게 떠도는 삶이야

   어떻게 견딜 수 있지만

세월이 잠시도 쉬지 않고

   흐르는 것이 안타깝습니다

"Writing the Heart in Early Spring"

 

A gale after gale of chill

   Slips in through grided windows.

I lower the beaded blinds,

   And read the Classic of Tea, scribbling in punctuations.

 

Snow remains white,

   Receiving the air of the mountains;

Grass is greener when frozen,

   Having obtained the heart of spring.

 

Ideas for poetry appears before me

   All through the moonlit night;

Legends of boozing from ancient times

   Can be lined up like stars in the sky.

 

A drifting life as this

   Can somehow be endured,

But I am restless that

   The time flows without ever stopping.
