病中拈韻（其二）

 

獨倚簾櫳倍黯然，樓高偏覺早秋天。

輕於投石橫江鳥，鳴似流泉抱葉蟬。

乍潤衣彩山翠重，微凉枕簟雨聲連。

隨便坐臥無聊甚，一半幽愁一半眠。

（六句雨字，警修堂本、手抄本皆作兩，據詩意改之。）

"병중에 또 운을 골라 시를 짓습니다"

 

홀로 주렴 드리운 창가에 기대니

   마음이 더욱 어둡고 우울합니다

높은 누각이 고집스럽게

   일찍 온 가을을 느끼라고 합니다

 

팔매질한 돌보다 가볍게

   강을 가로질러 나는 새;

흐르는 샘물 소리처럼 울먹이며

   나뭇잎을 부여잡는 매미

 

언뜻 반짝이는 옷 색채가

   비취빛 산과 어우러지고;

다소 쌀쌀한 베개와 대나무 돗자리로

   빗소리가 이어집니다

 

앉고 싶으면 앉고 눕고 싶으면 눕는

   참으로 무료한 시간

깊은 근심 반,

   낮잠 반으로 채웁니다

"Again, Choosing a Rhyme While Ill"

 

Leaning alone on a curtained window,

   I am doubly dispirited in doom and gloom.

This tower, being high, is dogged to call my attention

   To the early coming of autumn—

 

Birds that fly across the river,

   Nimbler than hurled pebbles;

Cicadas that hug tree leaves,

   Crying like gushing spring.

 

Instantaneously glistening are my clothes,

   Colors coupled by emerald green mountains;

A bit chilly are the pillow and the mat

   Where the sound of the rain is relayed.

 

I sit or lie down at will—

   It is really a boresome time,

Half filled by deep worries,

   And other half, by sleep.
