又（暮春謾咏）

 

焚香盤膝坐蒲團，卷裏光陰意自安。

鶯聲乍斷日將暮，花氣初晴春已殘。

輕衫欲試東風㬉，薄酒猶宜小雨寒。

把筆闌頭間寫字，謾成長句待誰看。

"늦은 봄 하릴없이 또 읊조립니다"

 

향 피우고 가부좌 틀고

   방석에 앉아

책 속에서 보내는 세월에

   마음 편안합니다

 

꾀꼬리 소리 문득 끊기면

   해가 곧 저물고

꽃 향기 비로소 흩어지면

   봄은 이미 스러졌지요

 

봄 바람 따스하면

   얇은 적삼 입어보고 싶고

이슬비 차가우면

   멀건 술이 마침맞지요

 

붓을 들어 난간 끝에서

   간간이 글을 쓰지만

하릴없이 긴 시를 쓴다 해도

   누가 보아주기를 기다립니까

"Chanting Idly Again in Late Spring"

 

Incense lit, sitting cross-legged

   On a rush mat—

This life spent in scrolls

   Has been comfortable.

 

When orioles' song abruptly ceases

   The sun is about to set;

As flower scent gets finally dispersed

   The spring is already over.

 

Warm vernal breeze

   Makes me try on light shirts;

Chilly drizzling rain

   Calls for some mild wine.

 

Holding the pen at the balustrade

   I write a few words,

But if they helplessly become a long poem

   Whom do I wait to read it?
