病中拈韻

 

無情歲月去悠然，雲物蒼涼白露天。

那得逍遙身化蝶，祇緣憔悴耳鳴蟬。

旅懷已覺來千里，俗事猶堪閣一邊。

樹影扶疏苔色凈，斜陽最好抱書眠。

"병중에 운을 골라 시를 짓습니다"

 

무정한 세월

   멀리로 멀리로 흐르고

구름 빛 싸늘한

   흰 이슬 내리는 하늘 아래

 

어떻게 자유롭게 노닐며

   몸을 나비로 바꿀 수 있을까요;

오로지 꼴이 처량해서인지

   귓속이 매미 울음으로 가득합니다

 

나그네의 마음으로 이미

   천 리를 온 걸 아니;

세상 일은 애써 견디며

   한 모퉁이에 밀어 둘 수 있겠지요

 

나무 그림자 무성하고

   이끼 색은 깨끗합니다

해 저물 무렵은 책을 안은 채

   잠들기 제일 좋습니다

"Choosing a Rhyme While Ill"

 

Amid years and months that flow

   Heartlessly to far, far away,

Under the sky that sheds white dews

   From bleak clouds,

 

How do I freely roam

   And have the body transform into a butterfly?

Just because I look pallid

   My ears are full of cicadas' cries.

 

The heart of this traveler knows already

   That he has come a thousand miles;

Affairs of the world can be

   Brushed to one side.

 

Tree shadows are dense,

   And moss puts on fresh colors.

The time of setting sun is the best

   For falling asleep, hugging a book.
