又（謾吟）

 

日影西移尚掩門，衖居幽僻不聞喧。

新禽相逐春風㬉，老樹猶知雨露痕。

計拙惟宜頻作醉，夢醒還自更無言。

一旬沉病多消瘦，鏡裏低回欲斷魂。

 

注：頷聯用陳與義〈休日早起〉。前四句曰：「曨曨窗影來，稍稍禽聲集。開門知有雨，老樹半身濕。」

 

죽서 박씨

 

"하염없이 또 읊조립니다"

 

햇살이 서쪽으로 움직여 가지만

   문은 아직도 잠겨 있습니다

골목길 후미진 곳에 머무니

   떠들썩한 소리가 들리지 않습니다

 

봄바람 따사로우니

   어린 새들 서로 쫓고;

비 왔는지 이슬 내렸는지

   늙은 나무가 아는 듯합니다

 

생각이 둔해 오로지

   자주 취하는 데만 적당하고;

꿈에서 깨어

   더욱 할 말이 없습니다

 

열흘을 깊은 병에 빠져있어

   얼마나 야위었는지

거울 속에서 나지막이 맴도는

   혼이 끊기려 합니다

 

주: 둘째 연은 송나라 시인 진여의(陳與義, 1090-1139)의 "쉬는 날 일찍 일어나다 (休日早起)"를 상기시킵니다. 그 작품은 다음과 같은 네 구절로 시작합니다: "어슴푸레 창가에 빛이 비치면/ 조금씩 새소리가 모여듭니다/ 문을 열면 비가 왔음을 알 수 있지요/ 늙은 나무 반쯤은 젖어 있습니다 … (曨曨窗影來，稍稍禽聲集。開門知有雨，老樹半身濕。⋯⋯).

"Chanted Aimlessly Again"

 

Sunlight has moved to the west side,

   But my gate remains closed.

Living in an alley, quiet and secluded,

   I hear no commotion.

 

Spring breeze is warm

   And young birds chase each other;

Whether rain or dew has fallen,

   The old tree seems to know.

 

My clumsy wit works only

   For getting drunk often;

Having awaken from a dream

   I have even fewer words to utter.

 

How wasted I am,

   Having been seriously ill for ten days,

Wandering low in the mirror,

   My soul is about to disperse.

 

Note: The second couplet reminds the poem by Chen Yuyi (陳與義, 1090-1139), titled "Waking Up Early on an Off Day (休日早起)," The first four lines of which read: "A dim light at dawn reaches the window/ Little by little warbling birds gather/ Opening the door, I know if it rained/ For the old tree would be half wet… (曨曨窗影來，稍稍禽聲集。開門知有雨，老樹半身濕。⋯⋯)"
