〈訪金烏〉

 

竹有當年碧，山依昔日高。

清風猶竪髮，誰謂古人遙。

 

               注：日本侵略朝鮮而起之壬辰倭亂（1592-8）中，詩人曾入金烏山避難。

"금오산에 들러"

 

대나무가 그 때처럼 푸르고

산봉우리가 지난날 같이 높고

맑은 바람이 머리털이 서도록 정신 나게 하는데

누가 옛사람들은 멀다고 하나요

 

           주: 일본이 조선을 침략해 일어난 임진왜란 (1592-8) 중에 시인은 금오산으로 들어가 난을 피했다고 합니다.

"Dropping in Gold Crow Mountain"

 

Bamboo trees are blue as those years,

Mountain peaks are high as old days,

And refreshing wind lets my hair stand, making me recollect myself.

Who says people of the past are far away?

 

               Note: During the Japanese invasions to Cho-sōn Korea (1592-8), the poet took refuge in the Gold Crow Mountain.
