죽서 박씨, “누각에 살며”

樓居

高樓百尺不須求，閉戶端居意更幽。
拂袂微風來隟宇，隔簾踈月上林邱。
殘花看去如將送，啼鳥相親可與遊。
誰畫江湖題滿壁，青山缺處下歸舟。

"누각에 살며"

백 척 높은 누각은
   탐낼 것 없습니다
수수한 집에서 문 걸어 닫고 살면
   마음이 더욱 그윽하지요.

소매를 스치는 산들바람이
   처마 틈새로 불어오고
커튼 밖에선 희미한 달이
   수풀 언덕 위로 떠 오를 겁니다

남은 꽃잎 몇
    보아하니 머지않아 떠나 보내야겠지만
지저귀는 새가 살가우니
   함께 거닐어도 좋겠습니다.

누가 강과 호수를 그렸고
   벽면을 가득 화제로 채웠는지요
푸른 산이 아쉬운 곳에선
   돌아가는 배를 타겠습니다

"Living in a Tower"

A high, hundred-foot tower
   Need not be sought after.
Living in a plain dwelling, behind a closed gate
   Leads my mind deeper in quietude.

A breeze that whisks by the sleeve
   Comes through fissures under the eaves;
A dim moon behind the beaded curtains
   Soars up over wooded hills.

A few remaining petals
   Approach the time to part;
Chirping birds looking genial
   Can be my companions.

Who painted the rivers and lakes
   And left inscriptions that fill all the walls?
Reaching the place in want of blue mountains,
   I will take a returning boat.
