聞笛

 

風吹羅幕月西沉，橫笛誰家怨恨深。

落盡梅花傳一曲，折來楊柳悵餘音。

飄飄故入懷人耳，咽咽偏關送客心。

殘夢驚回腸斷處，孤燈欲滅夜陰陰。

"피리소리를 들어요"

 

바람이 비단 장막 위로 불고

   달은 서쪽으로 떨어지는데

어느 집에서 들리는 피리소리

   저렇게 깊은 한을 담았을까요

 

다 떨어진 매화꽃 이파리 위로

   노래 한 곡을 전해 와

꺾인 버들가지 사이에

   애달픈 소리를 남겼습니다

 

너울너울 날아 기어이

   그리운 사람 귀로 들어가고

어이어이 흐느끼며

   외진 땅으로 손님을 보내드립니다

 

희미한 꿈에서 놀라 깨니

   다시 애간장을 끊는 곳

외로운 등불 하나 깜박깜박

   꺼질 듯, 이 밤이 답답합니다

"Listening to the Pipe"

 

Wind blows on brocade curtains

   And the moon sinks to the west.

Who is playing the pipe,

   So deep in sadness and resentment?

 

Over the fallen petals of plum flowers

   Comes a tune;

Among the plucked branches of the willow

   Linger on the sounds of sorrow.

 

Hovering with flutters, it gets denser to enter

   The ears of the man in thought;

Whimpering boo-hoo to the remote place

   It sends off the visitor.

 

I am startled to be awakened from a dim dream

   Back to the heart-wrenching place.

A lone lamp flickers to go out

   And the night goes on heavy and dark.
