我寂寞

不僅是因為只有孤單單的我一個人

而是因為乾枯的手掌

鬆弛的手

失去了一天天的勞動

 

早上去外邊幹活

晚上回來跟家人一塊兒圍著坐下的

日常的勞動和餐桌

如今失落了勞動

我的餐桌向一方傾斜了

 

到晚上，有

些人回到空著一整天的家

從隔鄰傳來的小狗吠叫聲

在小街兒幾處

小孩子們還在嬉鬧的聲音

"After Retirement"

 

I am lonely

Not just because I am alone

But because my dry, rough palms

And my loosened hands

Have lost the daily labor.

 

Going out to work in the morning,

Coming back and sitting together with family in the evening,

The labor and the dining table in the daily routine—

Now the labor is lost,

And my dining table is lopsided.

 

When the night falls, there're

People who return home left empty all day long,

A dog barking in the next-door neighbor,

And the sound of kids still frolicking

Somewhere in the back alley.

내가 외로운 것은

단지 혼자 있어서가 아니라

메마른 손바닥

헐거워진 손

잃어버린 하루의 노동 때문

 

아침이면 밖에 나가 일하다가

저녁이면 돌아와 식구들 함께 둘러앉는

일상의 노동과 식탁

이제 노동은 잃어버리고

한쪽으로 기울어진 나의 식탁

 

밤이면 하루 종일 비워 두었던

집으로 돌아오는 사람들

옆집에선 강아지 짖는 소리 들리고

골목길 어디선가는

아직도 뛰노는 아이들 소리
