送春

 

春光又作隔年期，送別那堪落日時。

箇裏盈虛原有定，暗中來去竟誰知。

蝶猶餘戀飛還逐，鸎欲相留語故遲。

何處再憑消息好，早梅先發雪中枝。

"봄을 보냅니다"

 

봄의 풍광이 또

   한 해를 기다리자고 기약합니다

작별하고 보내려는데 어찌

   해 떨어지는 저녁을 참을 수 있나요

 

하나하나 속이 차고 비는 건

   원래 정해져 있지만

어둠 가운데 오고 가는 걸

   끝내 누가 알까요

 

나비도 할 사랑이 남은 듯

   서로 따르며 날고

꾀꼬리도 붙들고 싶은지

   더딘 말로 이야기 합니다

 

어디에 다시 기대어

   좋은 소식을 기다릴까요

이른 매화 먼저 피는 것은

   눈 속의 나뭇가지

Scenes of spring present again

   The promise of another year.

Can the time of the setting sun

   Be bearable for the parting?

 

Waxing and waning in each and everything

   Have long been determined;

Coming and going in the dark

   Can be known in the end?

 

Butterflies, as if for lingering love,

   Fly chasing each other;

Orioles, wanting to hold on,

   Speak deliberately unhurried.

 

Which place do I lean on

   To wait for glad tidings?

The plum blossoms first

   On the branches in the snow.
