신정,"새재 鳥嶺"

申晸（字寅伯，號汾厓，1628-1687）

 

〈鳥嶺〉

 

主屹千重險，靈湫萬丈深。

俯看飛鳥絶，中有老龍吟。

樹擁蒼藤色，雲垂白日陰。

荒城餘古躅，撫劍一傷心。

 

신정 (자는 인백, 호는 분애, 1628-1687)

 

"새재"

 

천 겹 험한 주흘산

만 길 깊은 영추계곡

 

내려다 보니 나는 새가 끊기고

가운데엔 노래하는 늙은 용이 있습니다

 

나무들은 등나무 잎 짙은 녹색에 안기고

구름은 흰 햇빛의 그림자를 드리웁니다

 

허물어진 성곽에는 늙은 철쭉이 남아있고

칼을 어루만지며 다친 마음을 부여안습니다

"The Bird Ridge"

 

Chu-hūl Mountain with the ruggedness in a thousand layers;

Yōng-ch'u Gorge in the depth of ten-thousand fathoms.

 

I look down where flying birds have been cut off;

In the middle is an old dragon chanting a song.

 

Trees are hugged by the colors of green ivy leaves;

Clouds cast down the shade of a white sunlight.

 

By the fortress in ruins remain azaleas,

And I stroke the sword, consoling my grieving heart.
