竹西朴氏
縣齋消寂
金鈴不動吏無喧，擊壤時聞遠郭村。
樓影參差多碧樹，禽聲上下近黃昏。
鶴山風淡須扶病，浿水雲深欲斷魂。
錯把短詞求盡意，古人先我有高論。
죽서 박씨
"현청 서재에서 외로움을 달랩니다"
쇠방울도 울리지 않고
아전들 떠드는 소리도 없는데
땅 일구는 소리 때때로
먼 성곽마을에서 들려옵니다
들쭉날쭉 누각 그림자에
푸른 나무 우거졌고;
오르락내리락 새 소리로
황혼이 다가옵니다
학산의 바람 잔잔하니
병을 다스려야 하겠고
패수의 구름이 깊어
혼을 끊어내는 듯합니다
짧은 몇 마디에 마음을
모두 담으려는 건 잘못이라고
옛 사람들 나보다 먼저
훌륭히 논의를 했습니다

"Placating Loneliness in the Study at the Prefecture Office"
The bell does not ring,
Nor is there commotion of petty officials.
Just the sound of tilling the land comes now and then
From a remote village by the walls.
In the uneven shadows of the tower
The green trees get dense;
With the wavering sound of birds
The twilight comes near.
The wind on the Crane Mountain turning breezy
Should help me heal my infirmities;
The clouds over the Paesu River deepen
As if to snip off my soul.
Any attempt to relay all there is in the heart
Would be an error—
People of old days have argued
Splendidly before me.
