〈題雲峰寺〉

 

捫葛上雲峰，平看世界空。

千山分掌上，萬事豁胷中。

塔影日邊雪，松聲天半風。

烟霞應笑我，回步入塵籠。

칡넝쿨을 움켜잡으며 구름 낀 봉우리를 오르니

눈 앞으로 보이는 세상은 텅 비어 있습니다

 

천 개의 산이 손바닥 위처럼 나뉘어 지고

만 가지 일이 가슴 속에서 탁 트입니다

 

탑 그림자가 태양 언저리 눈에 비치고

소나무 소리는 하늘 한 가운데 있는 바람입니다

 

안개 낀 노을이 나를 비웃을 겁니다

발걸음을 돌려 새장 속 풍진세상으로 들어갈 거냐고

"Inscribing on the Cloud Peak Temple"

 

Having climbed the clouded peak, hanging onto arrowroot vines,

I see before me an empty world.

 

A thousand mountains are clear like on the palms;

Ten thousand worries scatter from my bosom.

 

The shadow of a pagoda is cast on the snow by the sun;

The sound through pine trees is the wind in the middle of the sky.

 

The misty evening glow must be laughing at me,

Asking if I would turn around and return to the cage called dusty world.
