〈驟雨〉

 

樹樹薰風葉欲齊，

正濃黑雨數峰西。

小蛙一種靑於艾，

跳上蕉梢效鵲啼。

한 그루 한 그루 나무마다 따사한 바람이 불어

      이파리들이 모두 가지런해 지는데

몇 개 봉우리 서쪽에서

      컴컴한 비가 짙어집니다

쑥잎보다 파란 종의

      조그만 개구리가

파초 이파리 끝으로 뛰어올라

      까치소리 흉내 내며 웁니다

"A Sudden Shower"

 

On every tree is a balmy breeze,

        And all the leaves are lined up neatly,

But a dark rain thickens west of a few peaks,

        Ready to swarm in any time.

A tiny frog of a species

        Greener than mugwort leaves

Jumps up to the tip of a banana leaf

        And croaks, mimicking the voice of magpie.
