〈鋼琴調音師〉

 

調節了稱作歧視的高低

他就會按照次序觀察吧

 

定下了一個音，那以前的就消失

像肋骨脫位那麼痛苦的愛

認識了新的因緣也就是要被擦掉的

 

情人唱的歌音階不對還是給她微笑的心情

那樣，脫離也明白了才能調音

 

尋找因為鋼琴課惱怒

想要藏在休止符後面的小孩

輕輕拍拍撫慰那孩子的人

掉了樂譜裝傻的小孩般脫離的音

也帶回來讓它就座的人

 

給沉悶的心情加個升號♯把它振作起來的

氣得上火有人會受到創傷時

附加個降號♭使之平靜下來的

是調整感情的人

如今有了叫做調律產業技師的資格憑證

是規格比調和要更可信的世界了

 

如果被歧視而感到委屈感到惡心的

生命都能調好

我就會委請他

"The Piano Tuner"

 

Having tuned the relative heights called discrimination,

I suppose he will observe carefully following an orderly sequence.

 

When a sound is set, the earlier ones disappear.

Even a love as painful as a dislocated rib

Is to be erased when a new destined relationship is found.

 

Just like the smile given to a lover's song even when it is out of key,

Tuning is possible only when deviations are also understood.

 

A person who finds a kid who wishes to hide behind a rest,

Annoyed by piano lessons,

And pats the kid to soothe him,

A person who brings back and sits a sound which breaks away

Like a child who drops the music score and act as if he did not know it.

 

He is a tuner of feelings

Who adds an accidental ♯ to a sinking heart to perk it up,

And an accidental ♭ for calming down,

When someone might get hurt because anger is flaring up,

But a certificate called a registered piano technician is attached to him.

This must be a world that the standard is deemed more trustworthy than the harmonious.

 

If he is someone who could tune lives,

Grieving and palpitating, having been discriminated,

I would entrust my life to him.

차별이라는 높낮이를 조절해놓고

순서대로 살펴보겠지

 

하나의 음을 정하면 이전 것은 사라진다

늑골이 어긋나듯 아픈 사랑도

새 인연을 만나면 지워지는 것이다

 

애인의 노래 음계가 틀려도 웃어주는 마음처럼

어긋남도 알아야 조율할 수 있는 것

 

피아노 교습에 시달리다가

쉼표 뒤에 숨고 싶은 아이를 찾아

어르고 다독이는 사람

악보 떨어트리고 딴청 하는 아이마냥 이탈하는 음을

데려와 제자리에 앉히는 사람

 

가라앉은 마음에는 올라오라고 #을

화가 치솟아 누군가가 다칠 것 같을 때는

내리라고 b을 붙여주는

감정 조정인인데

조율산업기사라는 자격증이 붙었으니

조화보다 규격을 믿는 세상이다

 

차별받고 억울하고 울렁거리는

생을 조율할 수만 있다면

그에게 부탁하련다
