〈以繪畫說話的身軀〉
丹楓拿凍僵的五指抓緊的秋季末端
掃自己一直照料的院子也放下的母親
我洗著她的身軀開始的一天經過微雨裏
父親離去後
放棄了寬敞的庭園
費心思適應一直心願的公寓生活
打掃、燒飯、帶孫子
放下了那些瑣碎擔子後
一日不如一日地被盜掘體重的身軀
母親的身軀在疊起堆積層
從歷時九十年的堆積岩裏
脂肪層溶解滑出去
接著乾旱的肌肉層崩毀
牛膝般的骨節也露出來的四肢
也呈現出像採石江曲曲而流的水波紋
身軀上雕刻也繪進畫
經過平生將要完成的一座藝術品
母親為了起來站在地板集中力氣
是不容比較的傑作

The end of autumn that the chilled fingers of red maple leaves are grabbing on tightly
My mother who cast aside even the brooming of the courtyard she'd cared for
The day that I started by bathing her is passing through a drizzling rain
After my father passed away
She gave up the spacious garden
And tried hard to get acclimated to a life in an apartment, which she yearned for
After having unloaded minor burdens such as
Cleaning the house, cooking meals, and caring for a grandson,
Her body gets robbed of the weight day after day
My mother's body is building sedimentary layers
From the ninety-year-old sedimentary rocks
The fat layers get dissolved and slip out
The layers of muscle suffering from drought crumble down
Even the limbs that expose the joints in the shape of cow knees
Show ripple patterns of the meandering flow in the Quarrying Rock River
Sculptures are carved and paintings are drawn onto her body
A piece of art soon to be completed after a lifelong process
My mother concentrates her energy to stand up on the floor
It is a masterpiece that allows no comparison

단풍이 곱은 손가락으로 꼭 잡은 가을 끝자락
당신이 가꾸던 뜨락 비질도 내려놓은
엄마 몸을 씻기며 문 연 하루가 가랑비 속을 지나간다
아버지 떠나신 후
넓은 정원을 버리고
소원이던 아파트살이에 적응하느라 애를 쓰다
청소하기 밥하기 손자 돌보기
소소한 짐을 내려놓은 후
하루가 다르게 무게를 도굴당하는 몸
엄마 몸은 퇴적층을 쌓고 있다
구십 년 지난 퇴적암에서
지방층이 녹아 미끄러져 나가고
가뭄 든 근육층이 허물어져
우슬 모양 뼈마디 드러낸 팔다리까지도
채석강처럼 굽이굽이 지나온 길 물결무늬를 드러내고 있다
몸에 조각을 하고 그림을 그려 넣는다
평생에 걸친 완성을 바라보는 한 점 예술품
엄마가 마룻바닥에서 일어서려 있는 힘을 모은다
비교할 수 없는 걸작이다
