Waves climb on to the land

Trees crawl into the woods

You come and I go

Though we grieve that the times cross paths

With a streak of warm sunshine

The face of the impending parting is invisible and

날개 편 접시꽃

푸른 물결 도드라진

붉은 꽃잎 곱기만 한데

사위어가는 몸 사이사이

너를 심어 붉어질 수 있다면

나는 기꺼이 한 줌 흙이 되리라

삶은 늘 어긋난 길 같아서

파도는 뭍으로 오르고

나무는 숲으로 기었지

너는 오고 나는 가는

시간의 엇갈림이 서러워도

어디로든 가야만 한다면

따뜻한 한줄기 볕이

그곳에도 있었으면 해

다가올 이별의 얼굴 보이질 않으니

네가 오지 않는 시간과

네가 없는 세상이 두려워
