〈過鏡浦〉

 

仙山萬朶雨餘新，

復有樓臺壓海濱。

今日匆匆經此地，

中心恰似別佳人。

 

김득신 (자는 자공, 호는 백곡, 1604-1684)

 

"경포를 지나며"

 

신선의 산 만 봉우리

      비 온 뒤라서 싱그럽고

또 누대가 있어서

      해변을 압도합니다

오늘 서둘러

      이곳을 지나려 하니

마음 속에는 마치 아름다운 사람과

      헤어지는 느낌입니다

"Passing by the Mirror Bay"

 

Mountains for celestials, ten-thousand peaks,

        Are refreshing after a rain,

And there is a tower on the terrace

        As an overwhelming presence to the beach.

Today as I pass by

        This place in hurried paces,

I feel in my heart as though

        I am bidding farewell to a beautiful person.
