直垂飛瀑丈三千，

不斷流光億萬年。

懸掛時空在畫軸，

老松落落化天仙。

수직으로 나는 듯 떨어지는 폭포

      길이는 삼천 장

쉬지 않고 흐르는

      억만 년의 세월

시간과 공간을 모두

      족자 화폭에 건 채로

느긋한 늙은 소나무는

      하늘 신선의 화신입니다

Falling down vertically is a flying cascade,

        Measuring thirty-thousand feet;

Flowing unceasingly are eons,

        Billions and billions of years.

With both time and space suspended

        On the hanging scroll,

The old pine trees are poised free and easy

        As an incarnation of heavenly celestials.
