〈詠明駝〉
艱難踏踏沙沙步，
何止往來萬里路。
亦續前行千載時，
明妃訴說峯間負。

타박타박 사박사박
힘들고 고생스럽게 걷는 걸음
어찌 만 리 길을
오갈 뿐이었겠습니까
계속해서 천 년의 시간을
앞으로, 앞으로 움직였습니다
왕소군 한 맺힌 호소를
등 위 두 혹 사이에 가득 지고서
주: 왕소군 (王昭君, 기원전 1세기) 은 한나라의 궁녀, 한나라 조정의 화친정책으로 흉노족의 수장과 혼인해 사막 건너에 살게 되었던 기구한 운명의 여인입니다.

Could the strenuous walks
Of trudging and crunching the sand
Be just for moving back and forth
On the road stretched ten-thousand miles?
Traveling forward,
They continued on a thousand years of time,
Carrying bitter grudges of Lady Luminous
Between the humps on the back.
Note: Lady Luminous (Wang Zhaojun, first century, BCE) was a palace lady given in marriage to a Xiongnu chief for peace and amity. Her life beyond the vast desert, never allowed to return even after the death of the chief, has been a treated in many poems.
