〈故宮〉

 

輕輕降落

如被拔般翹起的

尾巴羽毛

靜靜斜下

強而有力跳上的

屋簷尖端

形成調和

在五月的藤花間

明亮非凡

 

仁旺山伸下來的

太古精氣

被絆在大樓深林

裂破的瓦片

失去了古老光彩

依依垂下的

柳枝掛在香苑池上

呼呼

變成鳥聲了

 

仍舊

重壓似的雄壯姿態

在漣漪

巨大的輪舞裏

快活地搖擺

銳利眼神兇狠看了一會

在頭上

忽地飛過去的小鳥後

一朵

一朵

作出新的積雲

吹向對面的天空了

"An Old Palace"

 

The feathers on the tail wing

Soaring up as if being pulled

While alighting nimbly,

The tip of the eaves

Leaping up vigorously

After descending calmly,

Their harmonious combination is bright unusually

Through wisteria flowers of the month of May.

 

Stretching down from the In-wang Mountain,

The spirit of antiquity

Stumbles in the deep forest of buildings,

The shattered roof tiles

Lose their luster of old days,

And the drooping willow branches

Hanging over the Fragrant Garden Pond,

Whir—

Turn into a bird's trill.

 

Still

Overwhelmingly magnificent posture

Sways cheerfully

In the a circle dance

Of tranquil ripples,

Glares sharply at

A bird darting by quickly

Over the head,

And puffs

And puffs

New cumulus clouds

Out onto the sky on the other side.

사뿐히 내려앉다

뽑히듯이 날아오른

꽁지날개 깃털이랑

차분히 내려앉다

힘차게 뛰어오른

처마끝의 조화調和가

오월의 등꽃새로

유난히 밝다

 

인왕仁旺아래 뻗어 내린

태고太古의 정기精氣가

짙은 빌딩의 숲에 걸려

조각난 기왓장의

오랜 윤기潤氣가 죽어지고

축 늘어진

수양버들은 향원에 걸려

휘잉

새소리가 되었다

 

아직도

짓누르듯 웅장한 자태姿態가

잔잔한 물결의

커다란 윤무輪舞에는

흥겹게 흔들리고

머리위에서

저편으로 휙 나르는 새를

따가운 눈초리로 쏘아보다

뭉게

뭉게

새 뭉게구름을

저편 하늘에 피워 올렸다

 

           주: 친구가 작고한 친구의 유작을 찾다가 제가 고등학교 일학년 때 쓴 습작을 찾았다고 보내왔습니다. 1971년 "시와음악의밤"라는 행사에서 낭송한 작품집에 있었답니다. 오 십여 년 세월이 흘렀는데 기억에도 없는 글의 흔적이 남아있는 게 신기하기도 하고, 조금 두렵기도 합니다. 제 어린 시절의 기록으로 갈무리합니다.
