這一詞裏

含有窮也沒事的意思

有一個互愛的人

不外是有一切的意思

 

有勇氣的人才能說的話

真正愛的人才能說的話

短暫的愛以後會分手的人不敢說的話

 

玫瑰香在晚間微風裏飄浮的

五月某一天

 

如果有目光灼灼的男人緊緊握著

When a man falls truly in love with a woman,

He's likely to say, let's live together, just the two of us,

He'd just say, let's leave together, just the two of us.

 

Could it be a problem if it were an address even without a lot number

In a certain back alley in Seoul?

Sun-a! Let us live together, just the two of us.

The poet Chang Man-yōng wrote as such in a poem.

 

Natasha, let's go to a deep gully where wrens cry

And live in a humble thatched cottage.

The poet Paek Sōk wrote a poem like this to give to Natasha.

 

Just the two of us together, the phrase, just the two of us,

That contains the forlorn fullness.

 

That phrase holds

The intent that it is okay to be penurious.

It contains the meaning that to have a lover

Is as good as having all.

 

The phrase that only the brave can say,

The phrase that only someone truly in love can say,

The phrase that anyone who is to part after loving a while dares not say.

 

On a day in the month of May

When the scent of the roses flutter in a night breeze,

 

If a man with sparkling eyes tightly holds you, this maiden,

By the wrist and earnestly says this phrase, just the two of us together,

Don't let the overwhelming feeling shove him away.

 

After the lapse of a long time, you may realize belatedly

That those were the most precious words.

이해리

 

"단둘이라는 말"

 

한 남자가 한 여자를 진정으로 사랑하면

단둘이 살자 하나보다

단둘이 떠나자 하나보다

 

서울 어느 뒷골목

번지 없는 주소엔들 어떠랴

순아 우리 단둘이 살자

시인 장만영은 이런 시를 썼다

 

나타샤, 출출이 우는 깊은 산골로 가

마가리에 살자

백석 시인은 나타샤에게 이런 시를 써 줬다

 

외로운 충만이 들어있는

단둘이, 단둘이란 말

 

그 말에는

가난해도 좋다는 뜻이 들어있다

사랑하는 사람 하나면

모든 것을 가진 것이나 마찬가지란 의미도 들어있다

 

용기 있는 사람만이 할 수 있는 말

진정으로 사랑하는 사람만이 할 수 있는 말

잠시 사랑하다 헤어질 사람은 감히 할 수 없는 말

 

장미꽃 향기 밤바람에 날리던

오월의 어느 날

 

처녀인 그대 손목 꼬옥잡고 그 말 간절히 해주는

눈빛 맑은 사내가 있다면

엄청나서 오히려 밀쳐내지 마시라

 

긴 세월 흐르고 나면 가장 아까웠던 말인 줄

알게 될지 모르니
