Will soon retreat,

Since the night as pitch dark as death did so as well.

 

While I wanted to begin approaching you,

Into the sound of water encountered by the seaside,

Stars were also coming back by one or by two.

풀잎을 괴롭혔던 바람의 발길질도

그러나 곧 물러나게 될 것이다

죽음처럼 캄캄했던 밤도 그랬으니까

 

너에게로 가까워지기 시작하려는 동안

바닷가에서 만난 물소리 속으로도

별들이 하나둘씩 돌아오고 있었다
