精筆細心如老農，
躬耕隴畝自謙恭。
飛禽何向鐵橋外，
欲問能歸共笑容。

정교한 붓과 사려 깊은 마음은
나이든 농부가
몸소 밭이랑을 일구는 듯
겸손하게 스스로를 낮춥니다
날고 있는 새들은 왜
철교의 밖을 향하고 있는지
웃는 얼굴로 함께
할 수 있는지 묻고 싶네요
주: 교채화膠彩畫는 일본으로 전파되었던 중국의 전통적 회화방식을 1970-80년대에 타이완의 미술계가 수용해 형성된 회화방식입니다. 마른 물감을 동식물 추출물로 만든 풀을 이용해 화폭에 부착시키는 방식입니다.

The refined brushwork and circumspect mind
Are similar to the old farmer
Tilling the land humbly
By lowering himself.
Why the birds flying about
Are heading toward outside of the steel bridge,
I wish to ask, wondering
If we could be together with smiling faces.
Note: Jiaocaihua, tentatively translated here as "glued pigment style painting," is a method of painting, originated from traditional China, passed on to Japan, which was received by Taiwan art in the 1970s and 80s. It is a method of having dry pigment applied the canvas by glues made of materials from animals and plants.
