就由於人生種種的糾纏瓜葛

火氣要湧上時，依著飛揚島

那兒山頂的

白色燈塔，

盡情聽聽

爬上漢拏山來的南風

或者讓太平洋搖晃的

西風風聲吧

 

我們的生命也在漂浮

突然有停住！那一喝斥

就暫時下錨

坐定

逗留了

聚集了

停頓了

也不是屈服吧

When for matters in life getting tangled and twisted

We feel pent up, lean on the white lighthouse

At the top of the peaks

On the Flying-up Island,

And listen to our heart's content

To the south wind that climbs up the Halla Mountain

Or to the sound of the westerly wind

That has rocked the Pacific Ocean.

 

Our lives have also been floating.

When we run into a thunderous yell, "Stop right there,"

Lower the anchor for a while,

Sit properly.

Hanging around,

Getting stagnant,

Coming to a halt,

Would not make it a succumbing.
