春日謾咏

 

燕子歸來春已深，新愁偏與病相侵。

過雨溪橋迷柳色，微風庭院動花陰。

數杯薄酒聊成醉，一幅新詩謾寄心。

若使清閒元有價，人間誰復惜南金。

"봄날 부질없이 읊조립니다"

 

제비 돌아오니

   봄이 깊었고

새로 얻은 근심 기어이

   오랜 병과 함께 쳐들어 옵니다

 

시냇가 다리를 지나가는 비

   버들잎 색을 가리고

정원에 산들 부는 바람

   꽃 그늘을 흔듭니다

 

싱거운 술 몇 잔에

   취기가 오르고

새로 쓴 시 한 폭에

   부질없이 마음을 담습니다

 

맑고 한적한 삶에

   가격을 매길 수 있다면

사람 사는 세상 그 누구가 다시

   금덩어리를 귀하게 여길까요

"Chanting Idly on a Spring Day"

 

Swallows have come back

   To deepen the season of spring,

And new angsts invade

   Together with old spells.

 

The rain passing the bridge over the brook

   Obscures the colors of the willow;

The wind breezing through the yard

   Shakes the shade of the flowers.

 

By few glasses of bland wine

   I feel a bit tipsy;

To a sheet of new poem

   I entrust my listless heart.

 

If a price can be set

   For an idyllic life,

Who amongst us all

   Would prize gold again?
