在娩懷的江心

那些石頭聚集作什麼夢呢

用來剛過的冬天裏沒有哭完的哭聲

或者懷裏燦爛的金色陽光穿串兒的

含水的春光會不會讓垂到橋下的

花瓣再悲傷地哭起來呢

一股勁兒跑在開著紫雲英的河壩路上

到落下的花瓣

比懷戀還更早擁來的橋頭

跟我二十歲時的麥笛曲子一同站著

愛呀愛！在清青河水的隱密肌膚裏

懷戀更青，作擺動的水苔

身體先於心頭縮小

已被忘卻的臉孔

也溶解在河水裏再也撈不上來時

那藏著悲哀的一粒銀沙裏

如今不知所措的這世上可悲的遺憾

看來要作懷裏的火恨在水上流下去了

In the heart of the river, after its parturition,

What sort of dreams do those assembled pebbles dream?

With cries left unfinished since last winter,

Or with the bloated colors of spring, woven together

By the golden sunbeams in the heart, would they not let

The fallen flower petals under the bridge sob bitterly again?

Running at a stretch on the river bank where milkvetches are in bloom

To the bridgehead under which fallen flower petals

Swarm in more swiftly than my longings

And stand there together with the oaten pipe I blew when I was twenty,

Love, oh my love, even in the river of blue inner flesh,

My longings are even bluer, fluttering like moss in the water,

And my body shrinks before my mind

Even the forgotten faces

Cannot be scooped up for they are dissolved in the river.

At that time, even in a single grain of silvery sand with so much sorrows,

The dolefully bitter longings, for which nothing can be done by now,

Will be flowing down on the water as the fire in the bosom.

몸 푼 강심에

돌들은 모여 무슨 꿈을 꾸는지

지난 겨울 못다 운 울음이나

가슴의 금빛나는 햇살로 엮어

물먹은 봄빛이 다리 아래 떨어진

꽃잎들을 다시 서러웁게 울리지는 않는지

한달음에 자운영 강둑길을 달려

그리움보다 먼저

떨어진 꽃잎들이 밀려오는 다릿목 아래

내 스무 살 적 보리피리와 함께 서 있으면

사랑이여, 속살 푸른 강물 속에서도

그리움은 더욱 푸르러 물 이끼로 설레고

마음보다 먼저 몸이 작아져서

잊혀진 얼굴들조차

강물에 풀어 다시 올릴 수 없을 때

저 슬픔 많은 은모래 한 알에도

이제는 어쩌지 못할 세상의 서러운 한들이

가슴의 불들로 물 위를 흘러가겠네
