歸回到故鄉，到故鄉了

已經不是我懷戀的故鄉

 

山中山雞在孵卵

杜鵑隨季節鳴叫

 

但自己的故鄉也不感懷的心

是向遙遠的港口飄浮的雲彩

 

我今天也獨自爬到山頭

點點小白花多情地微笑

 

小時吹的草笛吹不出音

讓乾澀的嘴唇苦啊，苦

 

歸回到故鄉，到故鄉了

只有懷戀的天空高而青

"Home"

 

To my home, my home, I return,

But it's not the home I've longed for.

 

Pheasants in the mountain are brooding eggs,

And cuckoos cry in season,

 

But my heart, not harboring home,

Is a cloud drifting around over a distant port.

 

Today I climb again to the end of the mountain,

And dots of white flowers smile tenderheartedly,

 

But grass whistles of my childhood now don't make sound,

And make my dry lips feel bitter, so bitter.

 

To my home, my home, I return,

But only the sky I've longed for is high and blue.

고향에 고향에 돌아와도

그리던 고향은 아니러뇨.

 

산 꿩이 알을 품고

뻐꾸기 제철에 울건만,

 

마음은 제 고향 지니지 않고

머언 항구로 떠도는 구름

 

오늘도 뫼 끝에 홀로 오르니

흰 점 꽃이 인정스레 웃고,

 

어린 시절에 불던 풀피리 소리 아니 나고

메마른 입술에 쓰디 쓰다.

 

고향에 고향에 돌아와도

그리던 하늘만이 높푸르구나.
