My eyes were brimming with tears.

 

Just as a fortuity was named today by reaching the clothes hem of a fortuity,

Nearby but unreachable,

 

Like the itchy back that nurtured the elongated arms,

Like the earth that cooled itself by pulling in the starlight,

 

I mused on my whole, having one foot steeped in the water.

 

Around the time when only the tears called you got clearer,

 

Between the day that never came back

And the place of my longing

 

And then began to unfold.
