我後面流著銀河

我前邊有紅梅花開的春天

In back of me flows the Milky Way;

Before me is springtime with the red plum flowers blooming.

 

Delicately swaying in the wind,

Those flowers, one after another,

Will soon become red stars.

 

My friend, dressed in white and wearing black rubber shoes,

Is still walking slowly along the ecliptic.

 

Would you please put the stylus on the rings around the Saturn?

Songs will pour down like a meteoric shower,

 

And, when summer is over again, would go farther out.

 

Thus, the entire universe is my background.

바람에 조금씩 흔들리고 있는

내 친구는 흰 옷 검정 고무신으로

아직은 황도를 따라 천천히 걷고 있구나

 

토성의 둥근 고리에 바늘을 올려주렴

노래가 유성비처럼 쏟아져 내리고

 

또 여름 지나면 더 멀리 가리니
