Squatting under the eaves of someone else's house,

I muse on and on

Until the sun sets.

 

At the time

Grandma was there by my side.

Mother was there, too.

Not just any mother,

But the mother, charming at her prime.

 

At the time

The white clouds I looked at were bright and dazzling,

The wind breaking into pieces at the grass leaves

Could have the inner thoughts

Vibrating with its bluish overtones.

 

Squatting in a back alley with few passers-by,

I ponder over and over

Until the moon rises.
