我掃掃就栗子大小的大門前邊

 

有人丟了煙蒂

樹木掉了葉子

花瓣扔下了枯乾的花

昨天整夜經過大門前的人所發的嘆息

抖了抖空口袋後過去的人留下痕跡

終於放下手的戀人的餘戀，都被掃除

 

夏季如今比白菜根還小了

 

啪啪拍著早秋早上的涼意

掃著大門前邊

我小時父親掃院子的影子浮現出來

比秋天還淒涼的父親彎曲的背

那裏邊的

哭泣聲晃晃悠悠

作落下的葉子翻騰

 

掃著悲傷把自己生命的一切都掃去的

父親，像他靈前的菜餚般

秋季已經到了門前了

"Sweeping before the Gate"

 

I sweep the area before the gate, small as a chestnut.

 

Someone tossed a cigarette butt,

Trees dropped leaves,

And flower petals laid down withered flowers.

Sighs of the people who passed by before the gate all through the night,

Traces of people having gone through their empty pockets before going away,

And regrets of lovers who had to let go each other's hand in the end, are all swept along.

 

Now the summer is smaller than a cabbage root.

 

Sweeping the area before the gate,

Patting on the chillness of early autumn morning,

The image of the father sweeping the yard in my childhood rises up.

Father's hunched back more desolate than autumn,

And cries in it

Are reeling,

Tossing and turning like fallen leaves.

 

Just like the sacrificial food for father's soul,

Who swept away all his life as he swept his sorrows,

Autumn has already reached before the gate.

"대문 앞 쓸기"

 

딱 밤톨만 한 대문 앞을 쓸다

 

누군가 담배꽁초를 버리고

나무는 잎을 떨구고

꽃잎은  마른 꽃을 내려놓았다

간밤 내 대문 앞을 지나가는 사람의 한숨

빈 주머니를 툭툭 털다 간 사람들의 흔적

끝내 손을 놓은 연인들의 아쉬움이 쓸린다

 

여름은 이제 배추 뿌리보다 작다

 

이른 가을 아침의 서늘한 기운을 토닥거리며

대문 앞을 쓸다가

어린 날 아버지가 마당 쓰시는 모습 어린다

가을보다 더 쓸쓸한 아버지의 굽은 등

그 안의

울음이 휘청

떨어진 나뭇잎으로 뒤척이고 있다

 

설움을 쓸다가 자신의 생을 모조리 쓸어 간

아버지의 혼(魂)밥처럼

가을은 문 앞에  와 있다
