〈憶合唱三十年〉二首之二

 

密集音符眩目冥，

凝神傾耳往旁聽。

吾聲每患稍遲刻，

不免時而對口型。

"삼 십 년 합창을 기억합니다" 두 수의 둘째

 

빼곡하게 들어선 음표들에 눈이 어지럽고 캄캄해

정신을 집중해 귀 기울여 옆 사람 소리를 들었습니다

그래서 내 목소리는 조금씩 지각하는 게 문제였지요

하는 수 없이 가끔씩은 입만 뻥긋뻥긋 했습니다

When notes arranged densely dazzled and darkened my eyes,

I concentrated my mind to listen to fellows next to me.

My voice suffered from a split-second tardiness,

And I could not help lip-synching from time to time.
