崢嶸頭角久潛淵，

跳舞九鱗滿眼前。

他日若成騰化勢。

不知雲雨起何天。

"용 그리기"

 

머리 위 어마어마한 뿔이

         오래오래 깊은 못에 잠겨 있었으니

용 비늘이 뛰어 춤추며

         눈 앞을 가득 채워야 하겠지요

언제인가 날아오르는 기세를

         그려낼 수 있다고 해도

구름과 비가 어느 하늘에서

         일어 오를지 알 수 없습니다

The extraordinary horns on the head

            Have been in a deep pool for long,

And the scaled dragon shall now leap and dance

            To fill before my eyes.

Even if one day I could capture

            The posture of soaring transformation,

I would still not know from where in the firmament

            Would rise cloud and rain.
