〈題龍華同泛錄〉

 

道興舟幾大，載得此群英。

已向安流泛，何須問耦耕。

 

               注：《龍華同泛錄》，即《龍華山下同泛錄》，朝鮮朝宣祖四十年（1607），鄭逑（字道可，號寒岡，1543-1620）、張顯光（字德晦，號旅軒，1554-1637）、郭再祐（字季綏，號忘憂堂，1552-1617）等三十五人在龍華山下洛水乘舟遊覽之紀錄。

 

임진부 (자는 낙옹, 호는 임곡, 자지헌, 1586-1657)

흥이 나서 길(道)을 가는 배가 얼마나 컸길래

이렇게 큰 한 무리의 꽃부리를 실을 수 있었을까요

이미 평안한 물길을 향해 흐르고 있었으면

왜 함께 농사짓는 일을 물어야 했나요

 

           주: 《용화동범록》은 《용화산하동범록》으로 선조 40년(1607) 정구(자는 도가, 호는 한강, 1543-1620), 장현광(자는 덕회, 호는 여헌, 1554-1637), 곽재우(자는 계수, 호는 망우당, 1552-1617) 등 서른 다섯 사람이 용화산 아래 낙동강에서 배를 타고 노닌 기록입니다.

How large was the boat for those stimulated by the Way,

To have loaded the splendid galaxy of talents?

If they had already been drifting toward comfortable currents,

Why was it necessary to ask about tilling the land together?

 

               Note: The text on which this poem is inscribed is the record of thirty five scholars, including Chōng Ku (1543-1620), Chang Hyōn-gwang (1554-1637), and Kwak Chae-u (1552-1617) drifting on the present Nak-tong River under Mt. Yong-hwa.
